Shooting on the Move

A Sanami Defense Academy Signature Course – Pistol, Rifle, or Both

This isn’t a warm-up. This is the pressure test.

Shooting on the Move is an advanced 8-hour course designed for graduates of Sanami’s highest-level firearms training. Whether you choose Pistol, Rifle, or Both, you must have completed Pistol 3 and/or Rifle 3 Advanced (as appropriate) prior to enrollment. No exceptions.

This is where all of your skills are challenged in motion—no static shooting allowed. You’ll shoot while walking, running, crawling, reloading, and adapting to failure points on the fly.

What You’ll Train

  • Shooting from all movement types: walking, running, crouching, crawling

  • Reloads and malfunction clearance while on the move

  • Off-hand and dominant-hand-only transitions under pressure

  • Speed vs. tactics decision-making under time constraints

  • Maintaining shot placement and threat awareness in motion

  • Firing from compromised positions behind and around cover

Choose Your Track

Tactical Focus – Emphasizes practical application, cover usage, and calculated movement.
Match Focus – Prioritizes speed, efficiency, and timed accuracy.
Both versions build on the foundations of Pistol 3 and Rifle 3 and reward technical excellence under physical demand.
