This isn’t about gimmicks or gear. This is where we take it back to what matters—accuracy, speed, and performance under pressure. The first half of the day is a test of your fundamentals pushed to the limit with timed performance standards that expose both strengths and weaknesses. If you're serious about growth, this is where it gets real. The greatest skill you can possess in a gunfight is accurate rounds at speed.

Then we take it off the flat range. The second half of the day runs force-on-force scenarios, shifting the focus to timing, weapon retention, and judgment under realistic stress. This is where performance meets consequence—and sets the stage for future retention-focused training.

Timed performance standards and diagnostic drills
Force-on-force scenario training
Individual feedback and evaluation

Standards & Requirements

This is a performance-based course.
You will be tested under time and pressure.
You will leave with clarity on where your skill is—and how to take it further.
Completion qualifies students for advanced retention, private coaching, or instructor development paths.

Gear Checklist

  • Reliable semi-auto pistol

  • Minimum 500 rounds of factory ammunition

  • Minimum 5 magazines

  • Magazine pouch(es)

  • Quality OWB/IWB holster (must fully cover trigger guard – no Serpas or nylon)

  • Eye & ear protection

  • Brimmed hat

  • Belt-supportive pants and closed-toe shoes

  • Weather-appropriate clothing that won’t trap brass (avoid loose collars and hoodies)

  • Sunblock is required

  • Hydration system (required) and snacks for sustained output

  • Optional: gloves, knee pads, personal shot timer

  • Force-on-force gear provided as needed (SIRT, Airsoft, or Simunitions)

Policy

There are no refunds for this course.
Students may reschedule with 48 hours’ notice, up to two times within 6 months.
After that, a new course registration is required.

 Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy


 At Sanami Defense Academy, all class purchases are final. There are no refunds once a class has been purchased.
 However, we understand that schedules can change. Students are allowed to reschedule a class up to three (3) times within a six (6) month period from the original date of purchase.
 After six months have passed without completing the course, it will be considered a voluntary withdrawal. You will forfeit your tuition, and any future training will require a new full payment.
 Please communicate early and clearly if you need to reschedule. We strive to accommodate reasonable requests within this policy framework.
