Rifle 3 is the final level of our defensive rifle series, reserved for those who have completed Rifle 1 and 2, and who are ready to integrate both rifle and pistol into high-level application. This 8-hour course pushes your understanding of weapon transitions, movement under pressure, and positional engagement—bringing everything you've learned into a more reactive, demanding environment.

You’ll run both weapon systems, make decisions on the move, and push yourself to meet the physical and cognitive demands of real-world application. If you’ve been coasting on gear or shortcuts, this course will expose it. If you’ve been doing the work, this is where it pays off.

Prerequisites

  • Completion of Rifle 1 & Rifle 2

  • Strongly recommended: Pistol 1 & Pistol 2

  • Proficiency with safe handling, ready positions, reloads, and movement

Course Format

  • 8 hours of live-fire training

  • Includes rifle-to-pistol transitions

  • Emphasis on performance under stress and positionally complex shooting

Gear Checklist

  • Defensive-style rifle (AR-15 preferred)

  • Minimum 500 rounds rifle ammunition

  • Minimum 100 rounds pistol ammunition

  • Minimum 5 rifle magazines + 3 pistol magazines

  • Sling (2-point preferred)

  • Quality OWB/IWB pistol holster (no Serpas or nylon)

  • Magazine pouches for both platforms

  • Eye & ear protection

  • Brimmed hat

  • Belt-supportive pants and closed-toe shoes

  • Weather-appropriate clothing that won’t trap brass

  • Sunblock is required

  • Hydration system (required) and food/snacks

  • Optional: gloves, knee pads, functional chest rig or plate carrier

Policy

There are no refunds for this course.
Students may reschedule with 48 hours’ notice, up to two times within 6 months.
After that, a new registration is required.

This is the course where rifle and pistol come together. Make your transitions count.


 

Sanami Defense Academy
 Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy


 At Sanami Defense Academy, all class purchases are final. There are no refunds once a class has been purchased.
 However, we understand that schedules can change. Students are allowed to reschedule a class up to three (3) times within a six (6) month period from the original date of purchase.
 After six months have passed without completing the course, it will be considered a voluntary withdrawal. You will forfeit your tuition, and any future training will require a new full payment.
 Please communicate early and clearly if you need to reschedule. We strive to accommodate reasonable requests within this policy framework.
