Texas, license to Carry (LTC) - In Person Class and Proficiency Test

Our Texas LTC class includes 4-5 hours of classroom instruction and a shooting proficiency test at a private range.

The classroom is located in Buda, TX and it covers critical legal and safety topics, including:

• Texas Laws on Deadly Force
• Handgun Use & Safety
• Non-Violent Dispute Resolution
• Handgun Storage Best Practices
• State Required Exam

The Range portion covers:

• LTC Shooting Proficiency Test at a Private Range
  • B27 - State Required Silhouette Target (Included)
  • 50 - Round Shooting Proficiency Test:
    • Course of Fire Breakdown:
      • Stage 1 (3 Yards):
        •  Five shots fired individually in 2 seconds each.
        • Ten shots in two-shot sequences, 3 seconds each sequence.
        • Five shots fired in 10 seconds.
          
      • Stage 2 (7 Yards):
        • Five shots fired in 10 seconds. Followed by three shots in 6 seconds.
        • Five single shots, each in 3 seconds.
        • Five shots in 15 seconds.
        • Two shots in 4 seconds, 
      • Stage 3 (15 yards):
        • Two shots in 6 seconds, followed by three shots in 9 seconds.
        • Five shots fired in 15 seconds.
• Not Included:
  • Firearm. (Firearm rental available at the range.  Please inquire for details.)
