Shinobi Kids Dress Code
Dress Code for Shinobi Kids:
At Shinobi Kids, safety and comfort are our top priorities during all activities. Please adhere to the following dress code guidelines:
-
Weather-Appropriate Attire:
- Dress according to the weather conditions, layering up for colder days and ensuring clothes can be adjusted as needed to stay comfortable.
-
Athletic Attire:
- Wear athletic pants that provide knee protection and allow for unrestricted movement. Shorts are not permitted for safety reasons.
- Choose a shirt with at least short sleeves for modesty and protection. Tank tops are not allowed.
-
Avoid Skirts and Dresses:
- For safety reasons, participants should refrain from wearing skirts and dresses during classes. These garments may restrict movement and pose a risk of exposure during physical activities.
-
Undergarment Coverage:
- Ensure that undergarments are fully covered by clothing to maintain modesty and prevent exposure during rolling and tumbling exercises.
-
Optional Martial Arts Uniform (Gi):
- While not mandatory, participants have the option to wear a child-sized gi (martial arts uniform) available for purchase through recommended weblinks provided by Shinobi Kids Austin.
-
Protective Equipment:
- Additional protective gear required for specific activities will be provided by the academy or requested for parents to supply with advance notice.
-
Appropriate Clothing:
- Choose clothing suitable for physical activity and ensure it does not pose any safety hazards. Avoid items with dangling strings or accessories.
- Clothing should also be respectful and not offensive to others in the class.
By following these dress code guidelines, participants can engage in Shinobi Kids activities safely and comfortably, focusing on learning and enjoyment.
